Nexia New Zealand was formed when leading Canterbury accounting firms Marriots and HFK merged last year and is now set to take possession of some of Christchurch’s most premium office space.

The top floor of 123 Victoria Street will be the new home of Nexia New Zealand and will bring together approximately 90 staff under one roof for the first time since their merge.

Having considered multiple buildings in the central city Nexia decided on 123 Victoria Street for multiple reasons including the street’s professional reputation, vibrancy and accessibility.

“The hustle and bustle of both the professional community and the access to restaurants and bars was very appealing. The building also makes a significant statement on Victoria Street and it gave us a good profile to display our Nexia signage,” said Nexia business manager, Amy Murdoch.

123 Victoria Street is quickly becoming known as the most premium office space in Christchurch with its abundance of car parking and Gregor Kregar sculptures helping to build this reputation.
Connected car parking is seen as a luxury in Christchurch Central and of great appeal to tenants.
Murdoch commented “Victoria Street is a lot more accessible for clients, especially for our clients coming in from the suburbs.”

Countrywide Property, the developers of 123 Victoria Street, hand over the top floor to Nexia on 31 March 2017.
